About this Speaker
I have been an educator in various capacities for the last 20 years. Supporting children who have differently wired brains is my passion. I enjoy reading current research into learning best practices and finding ways to combine it with play to make learning fun. My life experiences both being dyslexic and parenting a dyslexic child provide me with a unique perspective on my work. When not advocating for the kids I work with, I can be found sailing with my family on our sailboat on the Salish Sea.
